Two charming brown and black Bakelite collectible nautical ashtrays. Made of bakelite by the Harry Davies / Daka-Ware Company of Chicago USA.
The black ashtray is designed with 20 grooves for resting cigarettes and cigars, at the front is a slot for holding a book of matches.
The tortoise brown ashtray has 15 recessed with “Sun-n-Sands Hotel Court Biloxi, Mississippi” engraved on it.
They’re in good condition overall.
Brown ashtray has two notable chips that doesn’t take away from its usage/display that adds to its character and age.
