The Sunflower bowl was made in Germany by Mikasa between 1997 and 2005. They are now discontinue. Mikasa Glass AMBER SUNFLOWER is a large and heavy bowl that has crimped - ruffled petals. It weighs 4lbs, 13 1/4 inches across, and stands 4 3/4 inches tall. Absolutely a gorgeous piece! With direct light, it has a vibrant amber iridescent color and almost seems to illuminate from within. The glass if pretty thick and well made. This bowl makes a lovely serving dish, perfect candy bowl, or a beautiful focal centerpiece by itself! This bowl is sold as gently used but in excellent condition with no chips, cracks or scratches.
